Oven Baked Fried Ravioli

Fried ravioli is one of my favorite things to order out, so I figured out an easier way to make it at home in the oven. You still get that crispy, herby breadcrumb coating without the mess of frying.

They’re perfect for dipping and honestly dangerous to have around, they go quick. Great for a party, or a fun snacky dinner.

Oven Baked Fried Ravioli

Ingredients:

  • Your choice of fresh ravioli (I chose spinach + cheese)

  • 1-2 large eggs, beaten

  • Garlic cloves, about 3-4

  • Pork panko breadcrumbs (regular breadcrumbs will work as well)

  • Fresh thyme

  • Fresh rosemary

  • Fresh oregano

  • S + P

  • Red pepper flakes

  • Olive oil

  • Your favorite marinara sauce

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 and prepare a sheet pan with parchment paper. Don’t use foil because it will stick and you want to avoid sticking.

  2. In a small food processor combine The breadcrumbs, parmesan, herbs, garlic, S + P and red pepper flakes. Process until mixed well.

  3. Place the b coating mix into a bowl and in a separate bowl, Add the eggs to along with some salt.

  4.  Dip the ravioli in the beaten egg, then dip it in through the breadcrumbs, making sure all sides are coated. Arrange in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle the ravioli with olive oil.

  5. Serve the ravioli immediately with your favorite red sauce.

  6. Enjoy!
